In 2005, a group of Catholic business men and women, parishioners of St. John the Baptist, began meeting at the church. They called themselves the St. John’s Business Network (SJBN). The group was small, held together by a small core (Midge Moyer, Cathy Arndt, Young Kim, Karen and Cecil Thompson) focused on fellowship, networking and business development.

In 2006, guided by the leadership Gregg Eisenberg membership was expanded outside of St. John’s Parish and the name was changed to the Catholic Business Network (CBN). It was during this time that the CBN logo, website, and directory were developed. In 2007 the first CBN Catholic Business Directory was published.

Through Mr. Eisenberg’s vision, leadership and guidance membership has grown to include some of the most prominent Catholic business leaders in the Salt Lake Valley, making CBN the most influential Catholic Business organization in the state of Utah securing the support of state and local Catholic politicians, as well as the blessing of the most Reverend John C. Wester, Bishop of Salt Lake.

We at CBN, Board of Directors, Officers and Parish Representatives are steadfast in our commitment to our membership and our Catholic community.
